I don't blame her for not announcing the real name...I think if I was a celebrity I wouldn't like everyone having an opinion on my kid's name. Naming is such a personal choice

Okay yeah I was just about to post that! Phew.

Is it Ickitt or Ickett?...I've seen both spellings, so I was just wondering. I like Ickett better, though.Strange name. o_0
I guess I was expecting something different, I don't know.
I hope the name at least fits him though...like you know how some people just have a name that "fits" them and they couldn't be named anything else? Hope this is the case!

I just read this, it sounds so ... well ... icky! Terrible, terrible name. I can just imagine him being called "Icky" by kids at school.

I don't like the name at all. Poor kid.Why do so many celebrities give their kids weird names? I'd love to know.

I have no idea where the name Mathangi Arulpragasam comes from, so I'm just going to assume Ickitt is legit in that language. It's still rather unfortunate in an English-speaking country, though. Ick!

M.I.A is Sri Lancan by origin, but she was born in the UK, so that really can't be an excuse.

Arulpragasam is enough of an unfortunate last name--makes me think of "orgasm" every time i see it. why would they want to give their kid such a strange and "icky" fn?
