Jedidiah
I am really loving the name Jedidiah right now. Its a handsome underused biblical name. I hate the nn Jed but I love the formalness of Jedidiah. What do you think of this name on a little baby boy today?

I don't like most names that are so obviously biblical. Jeremiah is nicer, as is Josiah.

I ♥*LOVE*♥ Jedidiah! In my completely objective, neutral and unbiased opinion, it's a fantastic name for a little baby boy today. =D Were I to be blessed with another son, and not have to negotiate with his father about it, I'd name him Jedidiah Benedict without a second thought.I disagree about Jed, however. I love Jed. But I personally would probably use Jedi, at least sometimes.

It's alright, if you could avoid the "Jed". Which would be hard..there are a lot of "d"'s. (well, just 2, but it's a bit of a tongue twister.)

I love it! However, I also love Jed, and it will probably be abbreviated more often than not. Jedidiah, Jebediah, and Jeremiah are three classy Biblical names that deserve more use.

I started to really like this name because of the meaning. I'm not too thrilled with Jed, either, but I like Jeb. However, I prefer Jedidiah over Jebidiah. I think a Jedidiah would fit right in with the Noahs, Isaiahs and Isaacs of his class...maybe you would have to throw in a Jethro :)

I guess we're opposites. I love the NN Jed, but I loathe Jedidiah.
