I don't love it, but it's ok. I work with a petite blond woman named Yvette, and she's very sweet but she also doesn't take any crap from anyone. :b She said she was named after Yvette Mimieu (sp?).

In the French-speaking area where I live, Yvette was very popular some 50 or 60 years ago-not much used just now. a pretty name, though.

I prefer Yvonne. I'm not a big fan of "-ette" names in general.
