Elisabeth
WDYTO Elisabeth? At the moment I prefer this spelling rather than Elizabeth. However, would it be weird if I ever used the name Elisabeth when my middle name is Elizabeth? Do you have any middle name suggestions? Thanks a lot =)

Elisabeth is the prettier spelling, imo, but I'd only use it if the nn is actually derived from this (Elisa, Elise, Elsa, Lisette, Liese, Lisa, etc.). The reason why is because it's more likely to be misspelled as Elizabeth (at least in the US). No, it's not weird to choose a different spelling for your dd. My sister is Lisa and her dd's mn is Elisabeth. OTOH, my dh's sister is Lisa and her dd's name is Elizabeth. There's no right or wrong here.Combos:Elisabeth Anna
Elisabeth Anne
Elisabeth Claire
Elisabeth Corinne
Elisabeth Daphne
Elisabeth Eve -- new fave of mine
Elisabeth Gabrielle
Elisabeth Juliet / Juliette
Elisabeth Madeleine
Elisabeth Maria
Elisabeth Marielle
Elisabeth Marina
Elisabeth Rosalind
Elisabeth Rosanna
Elisabeth Rose
Elisabeth Rosemary
Elisabeth Susanna
Elisabeth Therese

Elisabeth is my middle name, and was my Grandmother's middle as well. I'm quite partial to the spelling and after all these years, feels right, the z is weird for me to type!Elisabeth Calliope
Elisabeth Gioia
Elisabeth Viola
Elisabeth Ruby
Elisabeth Lilian
Elisabeth Daphne
Elisabeth Violet
Elisabeth Solange
Elisabeth Poppy
Elisabeth Plum
Elisabeth Xanthe
Elisabeth Coraare a few that pop to mind immediately. Elisabeth goes with just about everything in my book.

I don't really like the spelling Elisabeth, although I love Elizabeth. It looks odd to me with an s and like it should be pronounced i-LEE-sə-bəth instead of i-LIZ-ə-bəth. The Elizabeth combo that I'd use is Elizabeth Claire. It's plain, but I think it's pretty and both names are honoring names.

I like Elizabeth with a z.

I prefer Elizabeth, one because I HATE Elise with a fiery passion, but love Eliza. So when I see Elisabeth, all I see is Elise.
