In this case I'm glad that they changed the spelling, a simple 'o' is easier in America.

This is a silly pet peeve of mine. The umlaut changes the pronunciation, and pronouncing it just like how it looks isn't right. I think people should do some research on these foreign names and pronounce the O like they do in Scandinavia.
But I could just be being picky and anal.
