In this case I'm glad that they changed the spelling, a simple 'o' is easier in America.

It's wrong though...This is a silly pet peeve of mine. The umlaut changes the pronunciation, and pronouncing it just like how it looks isn't right. I think people should do some research on these foreign names and pronounce the O like they do in Scandinavia.But I could just be being picky and anal.

I agree(m)That's why I'd never use names like Josephine or Penelope in Croatia, they just wouldn't be pronounced right.And personally, Soren with the line through the 'o' looks way cooler.
