Opinions on Daisy...?
What do you think of Daisy as a first name? Is it too informal or childish? Any combo ideas? Thanks :D

I adore Daisy but would only use it as a nick for Margaret or Marguerite just because there are those who:
1. view Daisy as a dog's name;
2. perceive someone name Daisy to be a ditz or intellectually challenged;
3. make up cute rhymes and pet names such as "lazy Daisy," "crazy Daisy," "pushing up daisies."
So as you can see, even though I love Daisy, I have serious reservations. And it doesn't help to see women TV with the name who are less than bright or not well spoken. Anyway, my favorite combo is Margaret Susanna (nn Daisy).
Hope this helps.

I really think it's a silly name. It is too informal and childish, but it's even too informal and childish for a child. I don't know why I think this. It has nothing to do with being a flower. It doesn't have to do with Daisy Duck. I really don't know why I think this!
I don't mind it but there are other flower names I like even more.
I think Daisy is refreshing and I think it ages well.

I love Daisy. I usually picture a child when I hear it, but I think it would be fine on an adult. I don't really have any combo ideas, sorry.
