Susie?
Do you think this could make a comeback as a nickname? Susannah is already getting more popular. Do you think Susie will be the next Maddie? Is it cute enough or too dated?
Will these make a comeback?
Susannah, Susanna (which spelling?)
Susan
Suzanne
Suzette
and which nicknames will be used?
Susie
Sue
Sukie
Sanna
or no nickname at all?

I don't know if they will make a comeback or not. I am not so good at predicting these things. I think Susie is 100 times cuter than Maddie. I don't think it is too dated.
I love Susanna. The others are ok, but not really my style. I love Susie and Sanna as nicknames. Sue has unfavorable personal associations for me. I sort of like Sukie, but it was the name of my dad's cat growing up and she was the subject of many jokes after an unfortunate incident involving turpentine.

Susie was my brother's favorite of our cats so if it does make a comeback, I'll be giggling forever. I hope it does come back, but not in Maddie like doses, anyway. I adore Susanna, loathe that final 'H'. Makes Susanna look like it's shored up. I also like Susan and Susanne, but not Suzette which reminds me of breakfast food.
Suike would be my nickname choice for a Susanna of mine. I like Sanna too, but see potential sanitary jokes there. So Sukie it is. I've liked Sukie since "Witches of Eastwick". Sue is simple and cute too. But then, my MIL goes by Sue, so I couldn't use that myself!

I hope Susannah doesn't make a comeback- it is one of my long term favourites. Truthfully, I love Susannah without a nn but in my house she would definitely get one pretty quickly- and that would be Susie, Sanna or Annie
I think Sukie is also super cute but it isn't something I would call my kid and Sue is boring and dated.

I don't think it will. It just doesn't have the same feel as the other common nickname names.
I love it.
