Macauley
What do you think of Macauley for a boy? Would you spell it Macauley or Macaulay?
Replies
I think it's too surnamey
I guess it could work on a boy, but since I know someone with the last name MacAuley, I wouldn't use it as a first name.
I like the spelling Macauley better because I'd rather pronounce it Ma-cau-lee then Ma-cau-lay.

My family..
It's my dad's middle name, my brother's middle name and my nephew's middle name. It was also my dad's mother's maiden name.
Though they spell it MacCauley.
I think it's okay, but a lot of people will probably think of Macauley Culkin and think you're naming him after the actor.

It reminds me of Culkin the actor.
...Culkin.
Sorry, but that's the first thing I thought of. Kids these days probably aren't too familiar with him, though.
I think Macauley looks better.
