I really like George. It's another one of those names that will probably always be somewhat in style and never drop completely off the charts. Georgie / Geordie are nice nicknames for a little boy, but it's obviously something he will grow out of around age 8 or 9. My step-nephew Jeffery insists on being Jeff now (he's 10). Anyways, I actually like Geordie a little more though, it seems more masculine and it's not as common as Georgie.
I love your combos! George Meirion is fantastic and it fits with your other favorite names. Francis is great as well, I love Francis (on both genders) but it's especially nice to see it on a boy.
ETA: Btw, I've only met one George. Unfortunately he goes by Austin :(
