Polyxena or Xenon
Just out of interest, which name sounds better: Polyxena or Xenon? They both mean the same but Polyxena is for a girl and Xenon is for a boy

Polyxena sounds like a new type of plastic.Isn't Xenon on the periodic table of elements? Also reminds me of a photocopier brand name.Xenon is best.

What about Xenia for a girl?It looks to me that Xenia would be the female form of Xenon.I had an old relative named Xenia, it was pronounced as "Senya".Polyxena looks like a noun b/c of the "poly". Polyester, polyglot, polygamy etc.I like Xenon better than Polyxena, but I like Zenon better (a different name of course)."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

When I see Poly like that, I think of polyester or some kind of plastic material. It doesn't seem like a name to me. And the first thought when I saw Xenon was Xerox. Both names are definitely nms.

I don't know, I don't really like either one! Xenos sounds more put together, more manly and strong.Polyxena just looks hard to pronounce! It's pronounced po-len-zee-ah right? I guess it could be fitten with the nickname Polly which is really cute.So...I don't know! :)

I prefer Xenon. When I say Polyxena, the only thing my ears hear is "Polly." I do like the name Polly, but I don't think that's the style you're after. Xenon has a very strong sound to it.
