Since it was never overused, I don't think of it as dated nor as something to make a comeback... I know a few Beverlys, at least 2 of which are Beverly Joy, but mostly go by Bev. 2 are over 40 and 2 are under 40. I think 2 es in the name are quite sufficient. Looks weird to me with an extra e.
