Re: Patrick

Love Patrick. Very dashingly handsome.
Rhys Patrick is terrific, although FitzPatrick keeps creeping into my mind. If that doesn't bother you, then Rhys Patrick is wonderful.
Patrick Noel ("nohl")
Patrick Niall ("nile")
Patrick Desmond
Patrick Terence
Patrick Stirling
Patrick Gervase
Patrick Matthias
Patrick Ambrose
Patrick Eamonn ("AY-mun")
Patrick Shane
Patrick Emmanuel
Patrick Ishmael
Patrick Nathaniel
Patrick Barnaby
Patrick Milo
Patrick Stephen
Patrick Malcolm
Patrick Ainsley
Patrick Julian
Patrick Marius
There's a starter plate for you. Let me know if you'd like seconds. :-)

The FitzPatrick thing doesn't bother me. I would love seconds if you have time. I love:
Patrick Noel ("nohl")
Patrick Terence
Patrick Matthias
Patrick Nathaniel
Patrick Milo
Patrick Malcolm
Patrick Julian
Patrick Marius
I have to tell you that I pronounce Noel as NOHL for a boy and everyone I know yells at me. They say it should be NO-ell. I tell them that is the feminine pronunciation, but we keep having this argument. It's good to know I'm not the only one who pronounces it NOHL. Sorry, bit of a rant.

Noel. *sigh*
Noel for a boy is "nohl," like Noel Coward. I'm with you 100%.
I agree with your friends, but ONLY when two dots are over the 'e.' (I can't remember what they are called in French.) The purpose of the two dots is to make it clear that each vowel has its own distinct sound. No two dots -- no two sounds. Think: The First Noe"l. Perhaps if you point this out to them and settle the debate once and for all.
I used to rant about this but I got tired and gave up. It's nice to know someone else feels the same way.
Anyway, back to Patrick. I'm glad you liked the first course. Here are your seconds:
Patrick Phineas (although initials P.P. might be too much for the playground set to resist)
Patrick Magnus
Patrick Jude / Judah
Patrick Alasdair
Patrick Lionel
Patrick Jeremy
Patrick Adrian
Patrick Brendan
Patrick Hugh / Hugo
Patrick Antonin
Patrick Hollis
Patrick Edmund
Patrick Matteo
Patrick Elias
Patrick Tarquin
Patrick Darius
Patrick Annayo
Patrick Hilaire
Patrick Absalom
Patrick Amias ("AY-mee-uh")
Patrick Stellan
Patrick Imre
Bon Appetit!
