Ooh, I think Renee and Esmee would make great twin names!

Renee doesn't rock my world, however, I love this spelling. It seems to be rarely used anymore. Have you considered Renata? I think that's gorgeous and is so uncommon.

I have a lot of friends named Renata, because it's quite common in Portugal.

Not a fan of Renee. It's a little dated, although I do think it could become popular again. Esmee is way prettier imo.

It's verging on charming for me, but not quite there yet.I've certainly got no complaints.

I think its a little 60s/70s and dated for my taste.

It's likable and nice... esp. if you find something good to pair w/ it.

Its boring. Rather blah.

Meh.My best friend of over ten years is named Rene' (one E.) and I don't really feel one way or the other about it.
most people I've met with it spelled either way are kind of mean.
