Renae?
I previously posted asking for middle name suggestions and I really liked many of the combos that were suggested. The name Renae was suggested as a middle name and I never really thought much of it before but it's starting to grow on me. What do you think of Renae? Do you prefer this spelling or Renee? Thanks for your opinions!

I prefer the spelling Renee, though I hate the sound of the name. I much prefer Renata. :)

I really like this name. I think I might have even suggested it! Renae just looks so much nicer to me and the spelling is just better, because it's the way it's pronounced. Renee is nice too, but I just love Renae.

I prefer Renee and it's overdone as a mn, although not nearly as much as Ann, Marie, Lynn, Sue, etc."No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Renae is my sister's name, I would think about using this as a possible mn for a future dd (I already have a dd named Hayley Anne). The only problem with this spelling is that she can never find anything with her name on it (unless its spelt Renee).

Ouch. That spelling is like a poke in my eye. Rene' (m), Renee' (f) or nothing.

I like RenéeAnd I prefer the spellings Renée (the original French one) or Renee. Renae seems to me a butchered spelling."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I think it would sound pretty as a mn with some of the first names you posted earlier. I like the spelling Renae.

I prefer Renee, and though I like its meaning, I'm not a big fan of the name."Les yeux sont aveugles. Il faut chercher avec le coeur." -- Le Petit Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupery

As Distant Stars said, the name Renee is common where I live too, but if not, Renae might be best, so people would know how to pronounce it, and not say"Ree-nee". I have an unusual last name which is mis-pronounced often, and I get tired of that.

I have a friend whose mn is spelled Renae, but I don't care for that spelling at all. Renee is MUCH nicer.

I like Renee. Where I'm from, it's rather common as a mn, but it may not be as popular where you are. ~*|Bethany|*~
