Johannah
Yes? No? Why?

Johanna is gorgeous. I pronounce it "jo-HAN-uh," but I know a lot of people use the original German pronunciation, "yo-HAH-nuh." My great-grandmother was "jo-HAN-uh" so I'm biased. But it really is lovely, either way. It has an old-world charm that I love.
By the way, Johanna, no "h," is the feminine form of Johannes. There is no "h" on the end. It's confusing because of the unrelated name Hannah, I know. I used to do the same thing so don't feel bad.

I love it! Probably because its my cousin's name, and we're like sisters. I prefer this spelling to the traditional one- it makes more sense to me. The name Hannah has an h on the end, so why wouldn't Johannah?
I love it!!!
I'm in the minority on it, but I think it's gorgeous. I love Johanna-pronounced jo-HAWN-uh, and I prefer the spelling Johannah, it just looks more classic and old-fashioned to me, very quaint. Then again, I usually prefer the extra h on the end of names (Hannah over Hanna, Susannah over Susanna, Adah over Ada, Norah over Nora, Sarah over Sara, etc) The extra H adds a touch of charm. I know a 3 year old named Johannah and they call her Jo-Jo, really cute.
I know of the Duggars very well, but I still don't think of them when I hear/see Johannah, it's not the same as Jinger/Jim-Bob/Jedidiah, those I consider Duggarish.

No. I prefer Joanna. In theory I like Johannah but I know someone who has a daughter Johannah and it sounds odd. The h always sounds unexpected and awkward. I know this is probably because I am more used to Joanna though.
Sure, although I prefer Johanna
But I may be biased since Johanna is one of my MNs :) Joanna would be nice as well.

It's ok... I prefer Joanna or Johanneke, but Johannah's ok to (pref. prn. yohannah)... It's nice and tasteful and not overdone and doesn't date a person.
i think it looks a little much with the two ns and h. maybe johanna or yohanna? i personally like it pron. yo-hah-nuh myself. i think it's prettier with a y, too, a little more unusual, and less likely that people will call her joanna by accident.
Johanna: yes, yes, yes! Johannah: no! It looks weird and forced.
No. Go with either Hannah or Joanna.
Ditto
I say go with either/or because I think it is annoying to have to suddenly say an H in the middle of the name JoHannah. Why not just name the kid Jo Hannah, Joanna, or Hannah?
Besides, it is very Duggar.

Johannah has been around WAY longer than the Duggars... Plus, its proper prn. in some circles is Yohannah... though some prn. w/ the J sound instead.
I didn't say they made it up did I? I only said it is very Duggar.
I guess since I knew the name before the whole Duggar thing came up and I don't watch their show, I don't have that association.
