Jane
What do you think of Jane as a first name? Classic and pretty or boring and dated? Do you like Janie as a nickname? Do you know anyone named Jane? Will it rise in popularity?
What do you think of Jane as a middle name? I really like Estella Jane, Octavia Kallisto Jane and Octavia Jane at the moment. Is it a filler middle name? Do you know many people with Jane as a middle name? Is it less boring when used as one of two middle names to finish the combo up a bit as in Kallisto Victoria Jane, which I love?
Do you like Jayne better than Jane?

I adore Jane as a first name.
I love the name Jane and don't see it as boring and dated at all. I've hardly ever come across Jane's in my life, so to me, it would seem lovely on a little girl these days. Janie is alright as a nn, but I don't think it really needs one. Jane also works very well as a mn, because of it's short and sweet sound. Jane is the spelling I prefer.
I absolutely adore the name Jane. It is gorgeous, classic and not TOO frilly or too plain. I do not know anyone that has this has a first or a middle name, and I would love to see it rise in popularity again. I love it.
I love Jane. I like it as both a FN and MN.
Classic and pretty
Jane is an unsung hero of a name. Frilly, elaborate names are in fashion at the moment. I do like a lot of frilly, elaborate names. But I don't like that still-waters-run-deep names like Jane are so overlooked.
As a mn, Jane is bordering filler status. But it's still nice to see it being used in any context. It's a nice balance to a more frilly, elaborate fn. Like: Octavia Jane and Estella Jane. Delightful combinations.
Jayne isn't in the same league as Jane at all.

I love Jane as a FN. As a MN it's a bit bland and fillerish. It's like Marie, as a MN it's boring, but as a FN it's lovely. I occasionally get called Jane or Janie instead of Joan or Joanie, and surprisingly it doesn't bother me. I also greatly prefer Jane to Jayne. The 'y' is just unnecessary IMO, I'm not a fan of letters being thrown in randomly.
I love Jane as a first name. Classic and pretty. I think Janie is ok as a nickname for a child, but into adulthood Jane works better. I know no one named Jane. It might rise in popularity.
Jane is fine as a middle name, not filler-ish at all, and wonderful for finishing off a two middle name combo. I don't know anyone with the middle name Jane. I like all of your combos, they're all great.
I dislike Jayne. I just don't think it's as great as Jane.

Classic and gorgeous
I absolutely love Jane, especially as it's rather underused these days. People talk about "plain Jane", but I picture a Jane as anything but Jane - I think she'd be pretty, sparky and clever.
I prefer the original spelling, Jane, to Jayne or any of the other creative spellings. I do quite like Janie as a nickname - I think it's very classic and sweet. I don't know any Jane's, but I can name at least twenty girls off the top of my head I know who have Jane as their middle name, or one of two middle names. It sounds a little too filler as a MN to me - I prefer this as a FN.
Combos I love include Jane Andromache, Jane Lyra Amelia, Jane Isobella, Jane Ursula and Jane Minerva.
