Dante
Could you see Dante on a little boy with the last name Bartholomew, seriously? (I think of Alighieri; he thinks of athletes, but at least we agree on it as a name!) WDYT of the name in general, too?
Edit to add, since it's semi-related, do you think Beatrice is becoming too popular, or is it just us board members?

I love the name Beatrice!
I love Dante (and I think of the Italian poet too). I don't see anything wrong with Dante Bartholomew. To me, Dante seems easy to spell and pronounce but I don't live in USA.
I love Beatrice and I don't think it will be too popular, at least not in USA. Seems to me that most people on boards find Beatrice too old-fashioned. I think Beatrice is classic and beautiful.

I like Dante, and it sounds fine with Bartholomew. Beatrice is nice, I don't think it will be popular. But would you want Beatrice Bartholomew?

I love Dante, it seems like a very strong name. It sounds a little odd with Bartholomew, but not too bad.

Dante is simply oustanding
Dante is bold, powerful, strong, you name it, also it's not trendy which is a plus. Even though Dante is not great with the surname Bartholomew, it's still awesome name in my opinion. People typically don't care if a first name doesn't match the surname. I say go for Dante!
hasn't
Beatrice is a very retro name which hasn't been used much in modern day.
