Victoria and Diana are both beautiful and classy names.I would go for the less popular Diana. I don't get this nn thing, why *must* everyone have a nn? Why choose a beautiful name and then hide it behind a nn for the rest of her life? Ah -- I agree -- I guess I didn't make it clear that what was important for me and DH was that we wanted a name where we liked the potential nns, in case we or others ended up using them! I do agree that the names are most beautiful on their own. I am a Julia who grew up in the 80s and had to defend myself from being called Julie
