Also because I've never met one, so it's not tied to a particular age group for me, whereas Collin is associated with 50-60 year old men.
I do like Colin as well, mainly because of The Secret Garden, but spelt with one 'l' rather than two.

I'd love to see a little boy named Nicholas who goes by Collin or Cole, but I just don't care for it as much as a given name.

I'd just look at the meanings and decide from there... I suppose bald is a relatively neutral meaning...
Calvin! Collin has always reminded me of throwing up, but I haven't yet figured out the reason.
