Do you like the name Taniyah? Pronounced TARN ee ah, nn Tani. What mns do you think go with it?

I actually know TWO Taniyahs, prnd tah-NEE-uh. That R sound kind of comes out of no where, I think there should be an R in the name to achieve the sound.

Unfortunately, I don't like it. It's too made up.
Tanya is fine (pronounced Tah-nya, or Tan-ya whichever is more common in your area), as is Tierney (pronounced Teer-nee or so I've been told) even simple Tahni would be OK. Taniyah is just cumbersome and doesn't hold much strength with me.

well... it's different... If you're going to have an r sound in there, it would be better to put in the r... aside from that, it makes me think of Narnia.
However, w/out the r, it looks like you're trying to turn Tanya into a 3 syl. name.
