Willa
What do you think of Willa? I like it but fear it's getting common because of its similarity to Ella and some celebs using it recently. Do you know anyone named Willa? Do you think it has the potential to become popular?
Willa or Willow?
I also fear it's too close to villa which is a type of house (at least where I live), a very nice one but it bothers me a bit.

*love* I used to just like it, then I used it on a character who turned out to be really cool and now I like it even more. I've never met one, but would be delighted to. It's the kind of name that works on every age. I like it a lot better than Willow, although I do know a young Willow who is very cool. I know one or two others as well.
I much prefer Willow.
Very pretty
It's kind of soft and light and naturey. And a pleasant white and pastel green. And misty/foggy.
I can't imagine it's getting common. I'd never heard of it until a few months ago when someone posted about it, and I've definitely never met nor heard of anyone named Willa. So I missed whichever celebrity used it.
It is similar to some popular names, so I can see it becoming more common.

I like it much better than Willow. I would actually use this name.
I know of an actress named Willa Holland. She's the only one I know of.

I have some distant cousin named Willa Dean (or maybe it's Willadean), but that's the only one I know. Willow is more likely to be popular than Willa, methinks, and several celebs have used it. Whereas, I might know of one-ish celeb with a kid named Willa. Meryl Streep has a daughter named Mary Willa aka Mamie.
Anyway, I like Willa a lot. It's very soft and sweet.
Between Willa and Willow, I'd choose Willa. Though I don't know how long that choice will stand because I've become a little hippy-noun-y in my naming tastes lately.
