Re: Wren and Kestrel

I love both Wren and Kestrel for girls.
It took me a while to get used to Kestrel for a girl. It sounds masculine to me. But most bird names are feminine in my book so the transition was easy.
Wren is a family surname for me so in theory I could see it on either gender. But wrens themselves are so small and delicate, the image is more feminine to me.
Other bird names I like / love for girls: Lark, Linnet, Nightingale, Swan, Dove / Paloma / Colombe. I love Peregrine for a boy.
