Elle
What do you think of Elle? Pronounced like the letter L. I used to dislike it because it reminded me of the French word but now I think it's very elegant. WDYT? do you like it on its own? and wdyt of Elinor nn Elle?what about Emme? pronounced like the letter MDo you see them getting common?

One syllable names are tough for me. Most of the time I think they are bland, and Elle is no exception. Elle seems more substantial than Ella, but not as substantial as Ellen, Elinor or Eleanor. The few one syllable names I do like, I find particularly striking, like Noor. Noor would be a good nickname for Elinor.

I think Elle is better as a nickname. I'm not fond of the name Elinor but I do think Elle would be a good nickname for it. Much better than Ellie or Nora. Emme is nice as a nickname for Emily or Emma. I don't not think it should be a stand alone name. I do see these two names getting common

I much prefer Ella (because that's my name). Elle is not bad, but just boring. It's grown on me a bit since it was used in my favourite series, but I don't ever see it becoming popular. It's just not something that seems in right now.I like Emme even less. It also reminds me of Eminem.
