Re: Betty
I've always thought that Bette (one syllable) is a great, strong, overlooked nn for Elizabeth. Betty is cute too, but it has a different feeling for me. Still, as a lover of names being rediscovered, meeting a little Betty one day would warm my heart no end. :-)We are currently in a trend seeing "great-grandmotherly" (WWI) names like Violet, Rose, Adelaide and Matilda coming back. As time goes by, grandmotherly (WWII) names like Betty, Virginia and Nancy will become more and more popular. The combinations from your great list that I'm most drawn to are:Betty Eloise
Betty Josephine
Betty Lenore
Betty Rosalind
Betty Virginia May I try? Betty Carole
Betty Evelyn
Betty Catherine
Betty Frances
Betty Georgia
Betty Pauline
Betty Alice
Betty Irene
Betty Colleen
Betty Harriet
Betty Laurel
Betty Maureen
Betty Estelle
Betty Cordelia
Betty MurielThey please you?
