As for last year (I only missed one month posting my faves :b), my tastes didn't vary widely, but a bit.
2008 In Review:
Isla was always #1 on my girls' list. Not a surprise. :) Nora was always #2, and Clara was almost always #3, but twice it was Elsa and once it was Augusta (this name only showed up twice on my list again, both times at #6). Iris made up on my Dec. list twice, at #4 and #6. LOL, I just noticed that. Iris usually showed up at #5 or 6, but in May, it didn't make the list at all. Beatrice showed up randomly in 4 different months, but has since fallen off. Violet ranked higher at the beginning of than the middle, but started to rise a bit at the end. Olive showed up 4 times, always at/near the bottom. Lila showed up 4 times as well, also near the bottom. Esther - also 4 times, in 2nd half of list.
Other names that showed up sporadically (1-3 times this year): Rosalie, Rose, Afton, Audrey, Matilda, Wren, Ruby, Eve, Flora, Lydia, Ella, Esme, Nola, Vera (creeping up, but then I forgot it in Dec.), and Ingrid
Henry was at #1 on the boys' list for the first half of the year, but then fell to 6-8 and off completely in Dec. Julian went from not there at all or the middle of the list (jumped back and forth between these positions, lol) to #1, taking Henry's place. August dropped from a steady #2 during the first half of the year to hover in #3-5. Graham jumped around between #2 and #7, but mostly at #3-4. Gabriel hung at #3 to #5, but didn't join the list until June. Isaac wildly went from #2-8, with no distinct pattern. Elliott rose from ~#5-7, to ~#2-3. Rowan bounced between spot 5 and 9, and sometimes wasn't there at all. Quinn showed up once or twice around #5, then stayed around #9-10 until it fell off (again...this was on old favorite that showed up again, for a little while). Ezra and Oscar eachshowed up 4 times, always at the bottom.
Names that showed up less than 3-4 times were: Ronan, Emmett, Desmond, Abram, Jasper, Miles, Fletcher, Gideon.
