Constantina?
I've been a fan of Constantine for a while, but yesterday this name just sort of occured to me, and I fell for it straight away: Constantina! I love it because it's still got the Constantine feel, but means one can use the NN Tina (which I utterly love as a NN for Christina or just a name on its own). WDYT? What other names have the same sort of feel? It it at all usable, or should (as I'm thinking atm, sadly) it be strictly GP?Combos I've come up with already...Constantina Alexandra
Constantina Isobel
Constantina Lucy
Constantina Margaret
Constantina Victoria

I like Constantina and all of your combos. I also love Konstantina. I think it is usable.

I'm not a huge fan of Tina, which is probably why I tend to prefer -ine endings over -ina. If I had my preference for female Constant- names I'd go with Constant or Constanta over Constantina, although I can appreciate it. It is a mouthful but it has a number of accessible nicknames that make it seem more personable. Then again I do like a good formal name, although even with my more formal favorites--Theresia, Magdalena, Theodora, whatever else--I enjoy the idea of them having earthier nicknames that I'm also attracted to. All in all: thumbs up.

I don't think that just because others don't like a name you love it should be a GP. Look at all those celebrities with their "different" baby names. Constantina is not unusable, but it's definitely not something I would use. I also don't like the nickname Tina.I think Constantina Isobel, Lucy and Margaret sound nice.

Constantina is charming and absolutely useable. I prefer Constanza, but Constantina is lovely too. As you say, the obvious nn Tina is built in and readily available if your little Constantina takes a little time to appreciate her name.Of your combinations, Constantina Victoria feels the most natural. Perhaps it's fact that the meaning is readily apparent, constant victory. It has a wonderfully unappologetic, Roman quality to it. I want to like Constantina Alexandra, but it feels too cumbersome. Why that doesn't stop me with Constantina Victoria is a mystery to me. It just doesn't. May I try?Constantina Sophie (= constant wisdom)
Constantina Helen (= constant light)
Constantina Sibyl
Constantina Zoe
Constantina Thais
Constantina Alice / Alix
Constantina Valeria / Valerie ("vah-LEHR-ee-uh")(= constant strength)
Constantina Verity (= constant truth)(Wow. I don't know if I could stand constant truth)
Constantina Lily / Lilias
Constantina Imogen
