I like Elinor, but in this family, Eleanora is my favorite.
I would DEFINITELY spell it Eleanor, not Elinor. I grew up on an Elinor Rd. Every time I gave out my address I'd have to spell it out for the person. This wasn't such an issue, but if it were my first name (rather than my street) I think it would have been really annoying, especially when people continued to get it wrong.
I knew an Eleanor growing up, but no Elinor (apart from my street).
Ellie is my favorite nickname for any of these Elinor/ Eleanor/ Eleanora names.
