Charmian?
I've been thinking a lot about Charmian. When I first look at it, it looks like chairman; but I can get over that. I think it's pretty enough and while I'd only use it as a mn, I would definitely consider it!! How about you guys? Any combos in mind?

I love Charmian, but only when pronounced 'KAR-mee-an' (that seems to be the most accurate pronunciation, anyway).

I like it - I think it would get confused a lot with Charmaine, but to me it's much prettier. Diana Wynne Jones used it for her main character in a recent book, and she kept being called 'Charming'.

I like the fact that it begins with the word "charm", but it sounds rather masculine. It also makes me think of Charmin toilet paper. Sorry!

I don't really like it. It reminds me of Charisma, which I also dislike as a name. I also see chairman when I look at it and it just doesn't sound much like a name. It also reminds me of the girl who had a role in The Sound of Music. I think her name was Charmian.
