James
So, what does everyone think of James? I know it may seem kind of boring, but it's actually pretty uncommon here in AZ.
Also, middle name suggestions? I'm really liking James Augustus right now.

I really like James, but then I am biased because it is my brother's middle name as well as the first name of two of my great uncles. James Augustus sounds nice. I like rather traditional names with it.

I really love James. It's one of my oldest favorites and never falls out of my top five. I don't find it boring at all. I find it very classic and elegant.
I love James Augustus. Very handsome.
How about:
James Vincent
James Elias
James Alexander
James Tiberius
James Robert
James Rhys
James Morgan
James Thaddeus
James Valentine
James William

It's one of my favorite names. I think one day I'm going to name one of my sons James
I love James, it's the only boy's name on my list that doesn't change. I know the meaning is a bit off putting but plenty of names have pretty negative meanings, like Mary. It runs in my family on both sides - there is 4 in my close family (all with different nicknames of course :)) including my dad, so if I have a son he will definitely have James in his name.
and another one of it's good points is that I think it goes with pretty much any name! James Augustus isn't my own taste but a perfectly good combo.

Mary has a bad meaning?
However it was most likely originally an Egyptian name, perhaps derived in part from mry "beloved" or mr "love".

I love it. James was my Grandfather's name, and is my younger son's middle name.
