I never really liked this name either. I don't really like the sound of it and it makes me think of a plant, but not a flower, more like a shrub.

I know two girls named Heather (ages 21 and 25). One is Heather Lee Lastname and I know she loves her name because she thinks of her name together as an adjective, heatherly, and for some reason this really amuses her. I also two younger girls named Heather, both about 9 years old.
