Lynn
On a boy. I really like it. I think it needs a really masculine middle name though. Any good combos you can think of?
What about these:
Lynn Alasdair
Lynn Charles
Lynn Edward
Lynn Emrys
Lynn Harrison
Lynn Malachy
Lynn Michael
Lynn Patrick
Lynn Richard - I keep thinking of this one because I had a great uncle named Richard Lynn (he went by Lynn though).
Lynn Theodore
Lynn Thomas
Lynn William
Man, it's hard to make good combos with one syllable names!

I think it's terrible on a boy. It's ugly and dated on a girl and on a boy it's just plain horrible. I think he'd get teased a lot. It just sounds really wimpy and ugly and I would never use it. I think you wouldn't do you son a favor by choosing Lynn. He'd share the name with his friends' moms. Yeah, it definitely needs a masculine middle name. But all those masculine middle names make Lynn look even more feminine. It just doesn't work if you ask me.
I like Lynn. Something's been keeping me from adding it to my list though.
These might be too feminine sounding, but I'm liking the flow:
Lynn Micaiah
Lynn Josiah
Lynn Isaiah
Lynn Tobiah / Tobias
Lynn Zechariah
Lynn Addison
Lynn Emery / Amory
Lynn Mackenzie
Lynn Valentine
Okay. More masculine stuff:
Lynn Alexander
Lynn Abraham
Lynn Christopher
Lynn Elias
Lynn Atticus
Lynn Oliver
Lynn Sullivan
Lynn Harrison
Lynn Ezekiel
Lynn Sebastian
Lynn Augustus
Lynn Apollo
Lynn Evander
Lynn Hadrian
Lynn Joel (only pronounced JO-el though, not JOLL)
Lynn Constantine
Lynn Marcellus
Lynn Mordecai
Lynn Silvester
You're right. 1 syllable first names are difficult.
Oh and Lynn Benjamin and Lynn Nicholas would have been good, but you can't use those. ;]
