I haven't read Stardust yet - no money! - but I've seen the movie and adored it. Yvaine is pretty high on my middle names list.
Alvilda doesn't appeal to me, I think there's too many consonants in it. Although, I don't find Alfhild as hard to say, so maybe that's not it! I prefer Alfhild of all of the options.
