It's not just considered a unisex name now. It has always been unisex. It's a Russian nickname for both Alexander and Alexandra.

True, but I think recently it's been kicked higher into "unisex" mode. I just find it to be more masculine than feminine.

Okay :) I just think it's really feminine even though I grew up with a guy named Sascha. weird :P

Yeah, I think a lot of it has to do with me knowing a male Sacha. I just can't see it on a girl after knowing him :)
