I like Ružena, when it's pronounced Ruzhena. Good luck getting people to do that, though.

It's a really gorgeous name. And not only do Eastern European names sound beautiful, they look beautiful written down, too. I love how many of them have sharp, pointy letters. Plus, isn't it lovely how so many Eastern European names are not JUST harsh, nor are the JUST soft, they're a combination of the two. For example, the "Ru" in Ružena is a harsh sound, but the "zh" in Ružena is a soft sound. Oh my goodness I love names like that so very much.

You put that nicely. Ružena is one of the few "rose" names that don't strike me as completely flaccid.
