I prefer the Elizabeth spelling; it seems stronger, which is where the appeal of the name lies, I think.
When I hear Elizabeth, I think "Bennet." :) Which is why I love the name.
I'm not really one for nicknames, but since Elizabeth has so many I can make an exception here. I ADORE Bess and Betsy, love Eliza, and like Beth alright.
My Elizabeth combo at the moment is Elizabeth Hedwig. Eilis has Elizabeth Alberta, which I think is positively wonderful. Overall, I think Elizabeth needs something a bit more eccentric, but probably any length could work. I'd like anything from Elizabeth Delphine to Elizabeth Hero to Elizabeth Apolline to... you know, pretty much anything, so long as it's interesting. And doesn't start with a B or something, 'cause then it just wouldn't flow, eh?
