1- I like the name, but it's a GP for me. I have only known it on girls, so it's a girls name for me :P The most famous Dakota i remember is Dakota Culkin, who sadly passed away yesterday :( She was 29. 2- I don't think it's popular, but it's not that super rare either. '3- I think the name will rise, but I don't think it will ever reach 'cult' status like Aiden :D 4- IMO, it's not disprespectful. I don't see how it would be. For that case no kid should be named America, Asia, India, Jesus, Moses etc etc etc... 5- I don't care for Richard. Both names are harsh sounding paired together. I like both of the girl combos you have.

1- You must not have heard of Dakota Fanning. She's starred in several movies with a list stars.
4- There are people with those names you mentioned. Jesus is a typical Spanish name. I've met two, and I live in a state with a low Hispanic population.
