1. I do not like the name Dakota on a boy or girl.
2. I don't think it's very popular just well known because of Dakota Fanning. I know of two male Dakota's. One goes by Kota the other, Dakota. One of the Dakota's middle names is Marshall.
3. I think it will stay where it's at in popularity.
4. No. It's just a name. That's like saying that naming your daughter London or Brooklyn is disrespectful to France and New york. People can name their children whatever they want.
5. I don't like Dakota Richard. I do think that Dakota looks awfully feminine next to it. I agree with you on Dakota Emmeline. It makes Dakota look very masculine, but I think it also looks masculine next to Rose.
