I kind of like Dakota on a boy. I don't mind it on a girl but I think on a boy it would be handsome, with the nn Cody. I also like it for a male horse for some reason. I once met a horse named Dakota and he was the cutest. I'd call him Cody as well.

4. Do you think it's disrespectful to name a child Dakota? A woman was having a fit about that on another message board. She said it was disrespectful to Native American people and I heard a lot of people say that.

5. How do you like: Dakota Richard for a boy? and Dakota Emmeline or Dakota Rose for a girl? It's funny, now that I'm writing this....it seems really strange to pair Dakota up with Richard. It looks really feminine next to Richard and really masculine next to Emmeline but okay with Rose hmmmmmm
