Candace is nice.
I like the spelling Candis because of an old friend with that name.
The other pronunciations would automatically be butchered (and don't really fit anyway).
Daisy is a stretch... No, don't do it.
I know a few people named Candace (varied spellings) and none of them currently go by Candy, though some may have in younger years... Can- no.
Most in their 20s or 30s.
I don't think of it as dated as it wasn't overused in a particular era.
Cadence is ok, I suppose, but a very different name.
