I think it's very unattractive and also (out-)dated where I live. It doesn't sound masculine to me, but that could be because I know quite a few Dagmars. They're all 50 and older, though. One of them also seriously tainted my view of the name, as she was batshit crazy and should not have been allowed to walk the Earth freely. D: I'm not sure how it would be received or pronounced in the US. Here it is pronouned DAHK-mah(r) or DAHG-mah(r).
