I absolutely love Helena (even with the burden of multiple pronunciations) and also Helene, but to me Helen is just so boring and dated. They both have a completely different feel to me.

It may just be because I went to school with a Helen and because it was quite popular when I was growing up, whereas Helena seems fresh and romantic.
