Grace or Gretchen?
Which one do you like best, and why? Thanks.

Gretchen. I think it's beautiful, fun, and classy. It's not nearly so overused as Grace and it's a lot more exciting. People have pointed out to me that it sounds "harsh" and that the "retch" sound is unappealing. I really love it though.

its sad because certain german/english names are prevelent in southern n america and have a lowbrow sound to some.
but i do like the name gretchen....its womanly and a little exotic imo
grace is lovely too, but common as of late

I like Gretchen, it sounds less pure.

Gretchen, just because I like it more and Grace has been way overdone lately.

Grace is beautiful to me, but I prefer Gretchen. I don't really know why. Probably because it is foreign and less common in the US. It sounds like the bearer has lots of energy, where as Grace is sort of like a Laura, perfect, feminine, and has wonderful manners. Funny thing is, the Grace I know is entirely the opposite!
Grace, because it sounds elegant to me. :)
I really like both! I'll have to go with Gretchen though.
