I love Esther, and both mn's are nice, but I slightly prefer Dorothy to Dolores, as well as the flow of Esther Dorothy.

Frances & Esther would make a gorgeous sister set, imo.

I don't think Esther Dolores or Esther Dorothy flow very well at all. It seems a little choppy to me. Frances and Esther are ok for sibs, but have a little too much of a 's' sound.

Esther is lovely, but I don't really care for the combos. What about Esther Margot?
Esther and Frances would make a really nice sibset.

How about Esther Dorothea?

Esther Dolores is terrible--too old and heavy sounding. I don't care for Dorothy either, but Dorothea is much lighter and prettier.

Esther and Dolores are too old together. Dorothy's an improvement but also a bit too old-fashioned. If you still want to go that route, I'd recommend Ruth, Margaret, Vera, or Dorothea. They feel a bit more relevant to today while still complimenting Esther's old time feel. My current combo for it is Esther Julia Azeneth.

Esther is great, but doesn't work that well with Dolores or Dorothy, can't really pinpoint why.
Frances and Esther work well together.
