Francesca
I've been thinking about this name alot lately but have yet to see if DH will veto it. My question is - Does it need a nn since it is quite long? I'm not a fan on Fran or Franny. I also don't care much for Frankie but I think it could grow on me. Cesca is ok but is really nms. Can you think of any other nn's?
Her name would most likely be Francesca Vivian. WDYT? Or do you prefer Vivian Francesca?

I prefer Frances, but Francesca is nice. I only like the nickname Francie.
Vivian Francesca is pretty. (and I have to admit, Frankie's prob'ly one of the few nns I like with the "ie" or "y" ending for girl names)
I've always loved the name, and all the Francesca's I know have always gone by Francesca.
And honest to God, that combination, in either form is one of THE prettiest combo's I've ever seen! Both names aren't too trendy, yet not "foreign" to people either. Good luck!

What a compliment. Thank you. : )
I love the name Francesca; it is my cat's name, who usually goes by Cesca, Frankie, Fran, Fresca or just Ce. A possible nn would be Chester. The combo Francesca Vivian is cute, but I prefer the flow of Vivian Francesca.
Well, I hate Francesca with all my heart ;), but I have to admit that Vivian Francesca sounds pretty lovely. As lovely as anything can sound, with Francesca in it, that is.
Haha.. Well thank you : )

Sorry if I seemed rude or anything. I didn't mean it! This name just always ignites unknown passions inside of me!

LOL. No worries. I wasn't offended at all. I thought it was quite funny and truly appreciate your feedback.
I think Francesca is a beautiful name. Francie or Cissy (not my favorite nickname but still). I like Francisca Vivien better than Vivien Francesca but I don't like the name Vivien at all
