Dawn
I'm a bit surprised that Dawn didn't make a comeback. I think it would be lovely on a little girl and has a nice meaning as well. I thought more people would use it since the character Dawn appeared on Buffy but for some reason it didn't happen. What do you think of Dawn? Chances for a comeback? do you see it in the top 100 again? do you know any girls named Dawn? how old are they/middle names/nicknames? do you know any girls who have Dawn as a middle name?Emmeline Dawn or Emmeline Pearl?
Adelaida Dawn or Adelaida True?
Zipporah Dawn or Zipporah Eve?
Daisy Dawn or Daisy Elsa?

My middle name is Dawn. It's a common middle name on my mom's side of the family. I didn't care for it when I was younger but I love it now :)Of your combos I like Emmeline Pearl, Adelaide Dawn, Zipporah Dawn, and Daisy Elsa. All great names!

Dawn's nice... not overused and not bizarrely abnormal... Works well quite often as a mn (like my friend Kimberly Dawn... in her 30s)... My image with Dawn is generally a person in 30s or 40s now, but it's not so set that couldn't be changed.(unlike Ethel, Edna, Edith, Phillis, Doris, etc. that are definitely dated)
Emmeline Pearl flows better than Emmeline Dawn, but I'm not a fan of Emmeine and REALLY don't like Pearl (I just think it's an ugly word/name even though pearls themselves look quite nice).
Maybe some new combos with Dawn that flow better than what's there would be good, but I need to run off to Span. class, so maybe later. (yes, I'm in Jpn. and attending Span. class.)

It makes me think too much of the dishsoap. Or washing up liquid, if you prefer. :)It also sounds quite dated still, I think. I don't think I know any Dawns. I can't see it making a comeback anytime soon, unless maybe names like Sunny and Summer start getting more popular.Emmeline Pearl is beautiful.
Adelaida True is also very pretty. Adelaida Dawn has too much D.
Zipporah Dawn sounds better than Zipporah Eve. Names that end in vowels tend to go nicer with middle names that start with consonants.
Daisy Elsa is much better. Daisy Dawn sounds too cutesy and a little like a hillbilly.

I love Dawn, for a first and middle name. I would have liked to name our daughter Valerie Dawn, but obviously the initials VD were a problem. It is still too early for Dawn to make a comeback. It seems to have hit its peak in the seventies or sixties, so it's going to be a while yet. But I don't see why it shouldn't eventually fall back into use.I know a Dawn who is in her early fifties, and another who is about 14? I know a Dawn Lynn who's in her early thirties, and a Dawn Marie of about my own age. Also went to school with a Leslie Dawn who went by Dawn.

I think Dawn is dated, plus it has to contend with how dated the male Don is. The only Dawn I've known was in her 30's. I've known one Kristen Dawn. I don't see it coming back into style anytime soon.Emmeline Pearl
Adelaida True
Zipporah Eve
Daisy Dawn, although I don't care for either with Daisy.

I like Dawn, I might consider it one day. I have a great aunty named Margaret-Dawn who goes by Dawn. I *think* she got called Daisy Dawn a bit too (according to my nanna) Hmmm, you have given me the idea of Willow Dawn. I might add that to my list. ;)
