I can't pick! Persephone is so grand and elegant, but Piper is lovely and sweet and one of those names I've loved since I was fourteen. I think Piper is more usable, but I love both equally.

I think Persephone is a lot of name (with the mythology and all) to give a kid. I'd pair with the a short and classic middle name (you've got plenty of syllables in the first name). I do love the name though, so since might be a hard name to grow up with, so I'd consider nicknames.

I rather like Piper, but it's a bit too lightweight. It also has a high profile right now as the name of one of Sarah Palin's daughters.

I much prefer Piper although Persephone is a gP of mine.

I don't care for either, but I'd go with Piper. Persephone is a little too dramatic for my taste.

Persephone hands down, I dislike Piper.

I hate Piper! Perspehone is so much better. I don't know about middle names but I would probably choose something traditional/classic and short like Marie, Anne and Alice.
