Alisanne
Just wondering what you all thought about the name Alisanne (variant of Allison). I think it's kind of a neat alternative, which is unusual for me since I'm not really too fond of creative name variants. Anyway, just looking for some honest opinions. :) Thanks, guys!

It makes a nice way to combine my mom's name (Ann) with that of her late baby sister Alice.

Thanks for bringing it to our (my!) attention!

Would you pronounce it the same? I would read that as Alice-ANN or maybe Al-ih-SAN-nay before "Alison".
Actually, I kind of like it. At first, I thought it was Alsace, but otherwise, I actually really like it. I'm not much of a creative person either, but Alisanne rocks.
I quite like it. I've never been a fan of Alison or Allison, but this spelling does seem to make the name more attractive.
I have actually thought of this one myself. I think it definitely looks more romantic. It has that classic, British feel/ I would use it as a mn, though. Examples:
Gwen Alisanne
Tansie Alisanne
Tansy Alisanne
Edith Alisanne
Enid Alisanne
Jocasta Alisanne
Cecile Alisanne
Brie Alisanne
Caroline (Caro) Alisanne
Jemima (Jemma) Alisanne
Sterling Alisanne
