I prefer Elvira (EL-VEER-UH)

Both are pretty, I like their sound!
But they see more names for grown women than for little girls.
Penelope can be shortened to Penny which I find adorable on a little girl!!! Especially if she has copper colored hair!! :)
Vera sounds like very, very what? Very beautiful you should say! LOL!

personally they are nms... but if you like them that is all that matters! :)

I like either prn of Vera, either VAIR-ah or VEER-ah, can't even tell you which I'd prefer, it changes. ^_^ Penelope is sweet w/ nn Nell.

I love them both! They are two of my favorites. I greatly prefer Vera prn Vaira rather than Veera.
