Isla's kind of trendy in Britain, but it's unusable in the US because it's the Spanish word for island. I don't like Isla, though.

Unusable in the US?I just don't really follow how it being a Spanish word makes it unusable. Island isn't an offensive word or anything, either...I think it's a rather nice image, actually. Besides, I think a good number of people are aware that it's an established name, if only because they've heard it on Isla Fisher or something like that.

Actually, it IS usable in the U.S.I'm from the U.S., and I already know a couple of baby Islas. It may be a Spanish word, but Americans don't have a problem with that... especially in California, where I live. :)
