I like it on a boy... It's an androginous name and one of the few that I particularly appreciate as such. I'm not sure which gender I prefer it on. I like both.

I think I like it better on a boy, too. There's something kind of creepy to me about naming a girl something that means "place of pleasure." Even for a boy, that meaning makes the name sound a little lascivious.

I like it, but I like the spelling 'Edan' better (same pronounciation).
